Walker Letter, 1853.

One letter from Elkanah Walker to Brother Smith and Raymond, dated January 14, 1853. The letter mentions an enclosed note from the Rev. H. Clark, but that note is not present. The letter does talk about Clark and what Walker should do concerning a request that Clark made in his note. It is not entirely clear what the request was.

Harvey L. Clark, missionary and educator, was born in Vermont in 1807. In 1840, he and his wife moved Emeline, moved to Oregon as missionaries. They were independent missionaries, unaffiliated with the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions.
